Am I Slow (“the app,” also available at amislow.com) measures internet download, upload, latency, and bufferbloat. The app requires no account and no login.
What we collect
We do not collect personal data. The app does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, or any account information. Test results shown in Recent tests stay on your device (local storage / UserDefaults) and are not uploaded to our servers as a user profile.
What happens during a speed test
When you run a test, the app exchanges network traffic with Cloudflare’s edge (and related measurement endpoints) to estimate throughput and latency. That is ordinary internet traffic for the test itself. We do not use it to build an advertising profile or track you across apps or websites.
What we do not do
- No advertising SDKs
- No third-party analytics trackers
- No selling or sharing personal information
- No cross-app or cross-site tracking
Children
The app is rated for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
